Build Successful Site Architecture for your Baidu SEO

Content is the most important factor of Baidu SEO but good site architecture is also critical.

1. Prepare the most potential keywords list
Chinese keyword strategy in Baidu SEO is important and difficult. Prepare a general list, including the most possible of the potential terms that your prospects and customers might use.

Take the types of your products and services. For example, take your customers and prospects’ calling, their search string of your products or services, the type of your potentially solutions and even geography words in the search string.

2. Research the relative popularity
Research the relative popularity of the search terms with the Baidu keyword research tools. This will give you some idea of which Chinese search terms are used more often in Baidu than others on your list. The actual raw search term really doesn’t matter much.

3. Choose your main keywords
According to relative popularity keyword list, determine for which Chinese search terms your website will be primarily optimized. For each of your product or service, there will be several relevant Chinese search terms that rank highly, several terms place as “seconds”, and a number of terms have good potential.

4. Prepare landing pages
You maybe always select three or more search terms for the same product or service. Prepare credible landing pages that are going to respond well to organic search for each of them.There often are some other good alternatives to product and service pages. Such as case study page act as the landing page, a white paper page, a page in the news release or a blog posting. There are many options, but avoid duplicate content.

5. Link tactically
After you prepare the landing pages for your search terms, you need to arrange these pages into your navigation. Some might be directly accessible through the main navigation. Some may be in the sub-navigation or a given section, while others may be accessible through body text links of a page. Keep the landing pages for the most popular search terms on the home page.

Make sure you have intra-site linking between related search terms. For instance, if your visitor land on the case study page, make sure you have a link there to get to the product page of your site.

When you finish it, your content will be organized into a logical, user-friendly architecture that responds well to organic search.
